There are many variations of the beautiful Hawaiian lei. My fave is the Woven ribbon lei. You can make this style of lei in any color and the ribbon is veey inexpencive to buy. It is simple but it does take some practice. I have a few pictures of some lei I have made. I will post a tutorial on how to make this lei soon. Leis are made for many occasions such as birthdays, promotions, graduations, greeting out of towners, etc. Giving a lei is a tradition in Hawaii, one my family still upholds till this day. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
